May I suggest to Robin that she might like to have a bit of mint growing in her lawn .What a pleasure it is to smell mint when mowing the lawn .

    Thanks

I plan to have a 'kitchen garden' of herbs near the house.

I am likely to be a bit obsessive about what grows in the croquet lawn.

Don't you grow potatoes in a croquet lawn? I'm sure I have had potato croquets!

On a non horticultural note, does anybody know how the late running of the Whistling Ghost excursion impacted on it's WSR leg?

Being on GWR territory, one assumes they will be King Edwards (I and II)?

Given that they will be growing on the upper terrace, I favour Jersey Royals!:D

There's a Diesel Engineman Course on Saturday. Info on the staff website is that the DMU diagram is loco hauled, but doesn't say which one.

Nice to get a serious question. In the morning no impact as our driver on 6960 , John Gibbons was brilliant and we had to wait for 7820 at BA in the sun after the cross had happened at BL earlier instead of CH. On the return we had to get some time in hand at BL to compensate for the impossible time allowed at BL so unfortunately the cross happened at Williton which delayed the WSRly train by about 45 minutes. Thanks to all at the WSRly for accommodation of NR delays and for their flexibility. 6960 was excellent with such a big load.

Not hard judging by some of the pictures/ video, Is cutting back a thing of the past in Somerset ? or is it just trying to copy NRs policy?
