Clan Line at Milners Heath and Rossett (warning - I couldn't remember how to set the manual focus and the auto focus didn't work too well in the low light)

There being no evening sunlight Plan A was abandoned in favour of Plan B, a short drive from home.
Wellington station where the exhaust blew back off the footbridge a little and then Shifnal fully 16 minutes after RTT reported departure from Telford, normally a 3 or 4 minute trip for a single fare 0f £2.50.

Not exactly Winston Link but I don't suppose NR would appreciate all those cables and flashes !

Thanks to those who have posted videos and photos of Clan Line's loaded test run last night. I'm pleased to report that it went very successfully. A few minor tweaks are being undertaken today, and the loco will set off for Stewarts Lane as planned tonight. By dawn 35028 will be at GWS Dicot, and they will be opening earlier (at 10.00) to enable visitors to view/photograph our loco before it leaves on the final leg back to London at 11.19.

Is that the Simpsons character on the smokebox, which 46100 had for a few runs last year?

Clan Line charges up the bank from Cosford, as it makes a fine passage through Albrighton station on it's loaded test run ! Hopefully BIL isn't too far off sounding like this !

Some rather decent after dark efforts there guys, trains going a decent rate in the dark even today is a tricky business.

Now that is interesting as I took the day off to chase the Bournemouth Belle and could possibly capture that as well

To round things off re 35028, here's "Clan Line" safely back at Stewarts Lane this afternoon, two years to the day since she left. Now where's that tin of black paint...?! 35028 back home 30:06:17.jpg

2 years to the day?! That's mighty impressive. Well done to everyone concerned, I've said this before but you can set the tea by Clan Line, it's such a cracking machine.

Very nice, I picked Widney Manor as I was concerned most other stations on the route would be locked up after the last train and Widney Manor was ungated.

Yep, I just saw her near Aldershot.
That is two Bulleids I have seen on the ML today
Edit: here is my shot from Green Lane, near Aldershot. This location was unbelievable compared to the last time I went here for 5029. NR don't seem to be managing the lineside vegetation at all as it is encroaching on to the line. Behind me a tree was growing over the line, the trains having worn a shape in the tree when they pass. The weeds on the down line make it look like it is disused.
