Sounds dangerous - if, as happened many years ago, a driver could oil up 34072 when he was actually on 34027, imagine the difficulties that could arise with consecutive numbers of locos where no-one had thoughtfully rebuilt one to look very different from the other!

(Runs for cover from the Bulleid faithful!):Muted:

I hope this gala is going to feature the 1638s from both the Bluebell and KESR.

Or 80078/79/80 & 80104/5; 92219/20; 75078/9; 68077/8; 35005/6 (which will be possible soon) 35010/1 (which wont); 34072/3 (also unlikely); 7819/20/21/22 (which would be awesome); 3802/3....and there are probably more. I think the Manors is the biggest "run" though?

I guess you could have Terriers 54 and 55 as well, provided you paid the shipping from Canada on one of them!

But slightly less implausible than 35027, 35028 and 35029 all in steam!

At K&ESR gala in May 2009 both O1 65 (31065) and USA tank 65 (30065) were working, but don`t thing they were ever paired.

Can't see 60007/60008/60009/60010 ever making it, either. 80078/80079/80080 is much more likely. Has this actually happened?
There's also 35009/35010/35011 some time way off in the future. Any more consecutive numbers (B.R. 7/8/9 excepted)

They have at least appeared at the same event, even if not all in steam!

    Actually seeing LNER 7, 8 & 9 at the same event as BR 7, 8 & 9 would be quite something. ;-)

Are we allowed to mention the Norweigian pair 376 & 377?

Well I'm still intending on running in 2018, in various liverys and at various heritage lines and selected bits of Network Rail, I look forward to it! ;)

7819/7820/7821/7822 will do just fine I reckon.

Don't forget 6960, but I think you may have to wait a while for 7821.

I only meant, you could have 4 consecutive locos from the same class (possibly all different liveries, or all the same to confuse the crews!). All of which ended up at Shrewsbury at the end of 1965 and then onto Woodhams.

I agree 7821 might take a while, but there are always surprises in Pres.

More likely to see 4 consecutive Manors in steam than A4's!
