LE Movements, ECS and Test Runs 2018

Could it just be the LS equivalent to West Coast’s 5M50 and 5M51 test paths?

 

It ocurred to me that the uncompleted test run last Friday might have been with a view to the Shrewsbury trip and its extended WCML steam legs.

It made a sprightly and noisy departure from York as can be seen from 3 min into the video below. Not mine as I forgot to press record!

 

This looks like a loco from Carnforth to NRM for the SSEs. Although it’s traditionally Galatea, I wonder what it will be this year, given 5699s performances on recent CMEs
