Can anyone please tell me where G.W.R. Autocoach No.163 was off to yesterday? The other half saw on A5/M54 between Shrewsbury and Wellington yesterday afternoon!

South Devon Railway. Nothing on their website but it's on their Facebook page, saying it'll be used top and tail with their coach and 5542.

Mark 1 TSO's 4651 and 4667 have returned to the North Norfolk Railway this week after being on hire for the past 4/5 months to the Churnet Valley Railway. Transported and unloaded in suitably snowy conditions!

Noted this on the ECS thread, but here seemed more appropriate to ask?

What is the vehicle third in the consist off up to Scotland for Jacobite duties, better seen in this video

Looks to be numbered 94225 but can find nothing with that number on the VCT list, is it a generator van or something?

I'm pretty certain it's a GUV, looking at the shape of it, though been modified if so?

Could it be a water bowser as per Vintage Trains. That is based on a GUV. It has plastic tanks inside

The WCRC GUV water carrier (which IIRC predates the VT one) is no. 96175 last seen accompanying 6201 back from Butterley.

Does not the WC Chairman have a van that is used to transport his car or other vehicles in occasionally? Perhaps a car for the crews to return south in or use whilst domiciled in the highlands?
Either that or perhaps some other goods needed for the season being transported?

94225 was a CCT (Covered Carriage Truck), Diagram 816 Lot 30547. Later converted to GUV and numbered 86849 / 93849. It was stored at Carnforth in 2015 according to the 2015 Preserved Coaches list. Not listed in the VCT Carriage survey.

Apologies if not linked to the CCT but went through Eastleigh Friday about 1845 Fri 20th and a newly painted I think Mk 1 Restaurant Buffet car (No. 1981?) was in the down yard behind a 66 parked up. Livery was Blue and White "New Era" Corporate Livery. Any idea who owner is? destination? Thanks.

Wasn’t 1981 as that was scrapped years ago. It will be 1657. Owned by Rivera Trains.

Thompson BTK 1866 moved from Llangollen Railway to North Norfolk Railway over the 16/17th August.

BR 12T box van B784254 has also been moved earlier this month from the Mid Norfolk to the North Norfolk.

Both have changed ownership and are now based at NNR,

A ferry van owned by andrew briddon has recently moved home from peak rail to the ecclesbourne valley railway at wirksworth. To be used as a mobile tools & stores van around wirksworth station apparently.

Does anyone know the IDs of the vehicles being moved from Crewe Diesel to Peak Rail this week please? I gather around 10 vehicles are moving out for further storage to create some space.

Not all ten there yet but two of them are Gerald Marchington's Palatine Restaurant coaches from the old days at Buxton. Buxton to Rowsley the long way round!

    Mk1s plus a Mk2B and Mk2D so far.
