Went out for the train this morning with it having a pair of 37s (T&T) on. 37516 is seen heading south away from York:

Judging by the times on RTT, no water stops at Appleby in both directions. Taking advantage of BIL’s extra water capacity?

It was good that the water 'glitch' was soon sorted out. Looking at the Dalesman web site a couple of days ago I saw no reference to potential disappointments for travellers regarding motive power. It was a long while ago when I saw that class of locomotive working hard. (East of Exeter)

 

If the "resolution" is to use 35018 it will be a busy loco indeed.
