I did a search for Edinburch to Preston on RTT and it told me the train didn't exist. Unadvertised seems to be the stumbling block.

 

Using the advanced search should get around that on RTT.

It's split in two either side of Carlisle. Try searching for just the destination or start point.

Anyone on board know the reason for the delay at York ? Likely departure?

 

At least one TransPennine was also delayed, so not a problem with 60103. About 30 doat Northallerton, further delayed by a celebrity Class 91 with the 14:55.
