Did the IoMSP ships call at Llandudno? I can only recall up to 1961, when the only two that sailed to Douglas from Llandudno were St Seriol and St Tudno. Perhaps holiday specials by 1966? Ben My Chree Manxman, Snaefell, Mona's Isle, King Orry, Mona's Queen, Tynwald, Lady of Mann, Viking, Victoria.... all fond memories!

I do... and the title is "West Somerset Railway Operations". Maybe I fail to see the connection between stamp machines and the WSR.

I recall a day trip there from Liverpool, back in the late 60s/early 70s. Whilst we were enjoying Llandudno, the ship did a trip round Anglesey, before we went back to Liverpool in the evening.

Sadly I cannot recall which ship it was :(

St Seriol & St Tudno were part of the Liverpool & North Wales Steam Packet Co Fleet

When that went bust the IOMSPCo took over the Liverpool - Llandudno + Cruise & Llandudno - Douglas services

The Liverpool - Llandudno was withdrawn in 1980(?) when the Monas Isle finished & the Llandudno - Douglas in 1982 when the Manxman was withdrawn.

On on or two occasions the Ben My Chree (1966) or Manx Maid took the services

May I refer you to the second half of the post you were replying to, and which was thereby also referred to by your snarky question, "Will 34046 run as Braunton or 34052 during its time on the WSR?".

Is that not a valid question to ask considering 34046’s connection to the WSR?

Elsewhere it is still referenced as Braunton but is still running with 34052 guise. Would love if one side was 34046 and the one 34052.

Simples. to quote Alexandr, mask the plate or remove it temporarily. :D

There was an occasion when ex GWR locomotive 5051 Earl Bathurst ran with that name on one side and another, presumably its erstwhile name Drysllwyn Castle on the other. That was on a Torbay Express some years ago.
