apparently 34092 had a 'hard shunt' today due to failed tender brakes. Towed fro Kly to Haworth. Some minor injuries and damaged stock

    "apparently"

    Why write total rubbish ?

There was a major lineside fire today at Oxenhope station. Services were suspended for about 30 mins.
34092 struggled to depart Keighley and the service was caped to allow an on time finish.

As for the "hard shunt", no such towing of the loco to Haworth. No such damage to stock. Tender brakes tested fine and working.

    Loco runs as booked tomorrow.

From Lineside workers (shoot them not me!!), service was suspended twice because of lineside fires, firstly around 1.00pm for an hour, then from 4.00pm. We left at 17.30 with nothing having moved from 15.30.
Great if you have inside information, otherwise it's what you pick up from the lineside workers who have been asked to walk the line looking for fires. The comment was that it wouldn't re-open until a mark one eyeball had okayed the line. How true that is I don't know, but acerbic comments are not welcome in an otherwise very friendly community, when trying to pass on what you have gleaned.
    Rant over, 'nuff said.

A few shots from Tuesday, most trains that did run appeared to be poorly patronised from what I could see on the lineside. P1070029.JPG P1070033.JPG P1070035.JPG P1070037.JPG P1070041.JPG P1070043.JPG
