yes still there presume the coach is to replace the one with the not to be moved sign on it will involve a few shunt moves

The 47 may have an 'idle' time on the way back given the amount of rain currently falling in Devon this morning.....

 

No rain in Somerset yet

 

As expected steam + 47 + stock. Plenty of clag departing from Bristol TM this morning, also a little from Braunton . I've not seen such a brisk departure from the station before but as we can appreciate, there was very little chance of this trip being steam hauled without assistance. <BJ>

 

It's getting there if not already. Then heading North towards the Bristol Channel & Wales.
For us poor souls in the South East it's another bone dry baking hot day, 32 predicted this afternoon.

With the change in weather will they leave the 47 inside or put it on the rear for the return considering the heavy rainfall

 

It's not due to rain everywhere. No point in coupling the diesel to the rear of the train
and then catching the lineside and neighbouring fields alight approaching Bristol. <BJ>
