Times for Wednesday have vanished off RTT, perhaps VT only need Tuesday for tests, or they're waiting for a successful Tuesday before reinstating them?

I know we’re not to take RTT as gospel, but any evidence on this? Seems quiet on all fronts and would like to go out and see this

All, to avoid any disappointment, I can confirm that we are not running steam on the mainline this week. Ben

Just thought I'd point out that a new set of movements out of Tyseley on 27th November has appeared on Realtime Trains:

    http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/sea...18/11/27/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt

The first pair of movements appear to be a light engine run from Tyseley to Small Heath Lafarge & return, then a single round trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon & return via Henley-In-Arden in the afternoon.

    Hope this helps,
    Adam T

I would have thought so, given that Bahamas is the only loco currently at Tyseley that is operated by West Coast Railways..

Thanks. Just spotted it myself on RTT where it says "This service was cancelled throughout due to a delay not investigated (OU)."

Very good piece on VT on Radio 4's You and Yours this lunchtime.

Worth tracking down on the BBC Sounds app!

From 27:30. Features Cath Bellamy, plus a bit of Christian Woolmar and Sir Peter Hendy. Sounds like it was recorded earlier this year. Makes out that this is all a completely new thing, when of course we know there's mainline steam nearly every weekend of the year, Tyseley has been going many years etc. etc.
