LE Movements, ECS and Test Runs 2019

I am not sure what this is: 5Z45 1311 Carnforth Steamtown to Toton T.M.D. (http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U54870/2019/01/04/advanced) allegedly running tommorow (4th Jan). Another web site shows there is a watering stop at Eccles.

60103 is already at Toton, my guess would be 45212?

The yard at Wansford will look oddly empty after the 15th - and sadly I'm working that day so I can't wave it off through Fletton

 

I've had confirmation from Ingrow regarding the dates for 45596's test runs.

Bahamas is schedueled for initial tests including a run to Stratford-Upon-Avon on Tuesday 15th along with a loaded test run on Thursday 17th.

70000 just passed through Rhostyllen about 5 mins ago - stopped just north of Rhostyllen at signal. Sounded great going up the bank!

 

60103's move from Toton to Southall tomorrow via the Midland Mainline. Assisting diesel looks to detach at Kettering, also being utilised as a water stop.

My understanding is it's for crew training. Interesting load of 4 Mk 1s including the generator and a Class 47.

Walcot between Shrewsbury and Telford -- a lot less sun than promised by the Met Office but the strong northerly wind would have the last word anyway - a difficult day for photographing this stretch.
Sounded superb at Cosford even with the light load.

 

I guess they wont just have steamed her for one day's worth of training? Possibly tomorrow and Thursday also as previously last year with 61000?

70000 again today? First path activated 119 minutes before booked departure time, so looks like it might happen, as auto activate always seems to be at 120 minutes before departure.
