LE Movements, ECS and Test Runs 2019

I'm wondering why the train should occupy a platform in Carnforth station for an hour.

 

It's on the back road, not a platform road.

Yes but if you look at 5M50 most days it appears with warnings, runs as required. Thursday's entry is specific to that day, so looks more likely.

 

Immaculately turned out, 48151 works 5Z78 away from Carnforth to Preston to await its stock for the trip to Shrewsbury, Mick Kelly driving, Frank Chippendale and Martyn Soames working the shovel

20227 is out on crew training for the NNR between Sheringham and Cromer today.

 

Immaculate indeed, top marks to all at 10A who have had a hand in that, it's looks splendid.

Recall from the latest edition of SR that a trial Waterloo-Windsor shuttle by CathEx is being undertaken with a view to running more for tourists this summer.

 

6201 on 5M50 today.

Press event at Waterloo to do with the aforementioned summer shuttles to Windsor.

 

Quite a lightly loaded test run, only 5 on.

 

6201 sounded good at Borwick even with a light load . Video to follow later .
