    Well still 9 days to go it could be a lucky last minute break for a test run. A bit irrelevant but it happened with 45596 a few days before feb 9th inaugural tour.

    60009 has had some maintenance . why in your world do you believe it needs a test run ?? loco's are under constant maintenance and don't have a full test run each time someone waves a spanner in their general direction . As long as some miles can be accumulated where it is to prove the repair and it passes an FTR then in theory should be good to go

    and herein @Davo is the frustration of so many with your postings .

    Sorry its one thing i wasent aware of that 60009 a mainline loco gets uleashed straight away to whereabouts it is having a minor repair at sidmouth its something i overlooked.
    Like with 46233 got a minor overhaul and painted back into L.M.S. crimson and retubed last year at swanwick jct mid railway butterley and came straight back out on mainline duty down to S.V.R.
