Steam Dreams Excursion: Crewe to Holyhead - Thurs 6th June

Looks like this is going ahead for Thursday. Timings are up for the light engine movement from Carnforth, and for the trip itself.

45690 Leander plus support coach surprises some early morning commuters as is runs through Hartford station at 07:31 this morning en route to Crewe.

Nice aesthetics when the driver cracked the reg open on the up fast starter signal at Lancaster station lovely staccato bark. just wondered why 45690 wasn't kept at Crewe heritage centre for the Scarborough flyer on 8.5.2019 servicing re coaling the tender perhaps?
