Can't find a thread for this so I'll start it.
RTC's site says fully booked with some outline provisional times, nothing on RTT yet. Raining in the North West this morning so bodes well for any potential 'fire risk' problems.

Sadly that clashes with the Shuttleworth airshow where no less than eight Hurricanes are booked to fly. As much as I love an A3, that's no contest in my book.

So the Shuttleworth air show trumps the 'Shuttleworth' rail show. Seems the right call. :)

There's also the small matter of distance. 160+ miles to get to York, 7 miles to get to the air show. Shame it clashes as it's been a while since I've travelled behind steam over the S&C and a trip behind 60103 would have been rather nice. Maybe next time.

Much appreciated, on one's own at both locations, very surprising.

    driving and Matt Durkan firing

With threatening clouds about to block out the sun, 'Flying Scotsman' works through Newbiggin with the return leg of 'The Waverley' with Chris Cubitt driving

Ribblehead Station was fairly busy for the northbound and plenty spread around on the moors by the viaduct.

Unless I mis-counted, this is the first one 60103 has done over the S&C on it's current ticket with load 12 and no diesel.
