    Wish I was savvy enough to post links myself, but, for those of you out there who maybe interested, on the SEMG site they have posted a very interesting analysis of the Ouse Valley Viaduct. Technically its a bit beyond my finite cerebral grasp but I do get the overall picture, and its one of my favouritist railway structures:). Fulfills that trusted adage, if it looks right then it is right!
    Oh yes and its nearly 170 years old.
