Trespass in the Woking area (someone can’t tell the difference between LNER Pacifics!), long queues of services in all directions. Quite a delay on this one to come.

I'm currently at Byfleet, my train I arrived on is still here after 15 minutes, several trains held up in the distance.

When at Woking last week, they had people wandering around the platform wearing Hi-Viz with the logo

    "Trespass and Welfare Officer"

    emblazoned over them

60009 Union of South Africa 'streaking' through Eastleigh en route to Swanage. Will this be the final visit of 'No.9' to the south coast?

We went to Brookwood to say farewell to No. 9 tonight having missed her runs in the South for the last couple of years. A good turnout for what is probably her last run on the SWML. Must admit I had a lump in the throat as she powered away into the dark towards Woking. Will try to upload the video and camera pictures tomorrow or Saturday. Here are a couple of phone pictures for now:

Here are a few pictures (low res versions) from my new camera (Sony @6000) which I was using for the first time tonight at the Brookwood water stop. Very impressed with the results. Farewell No. 9
