Wellington, about 50 minutes late and going fast, hauling a few Mk1s and a class 47
Lots of room on the line though, lots of cancellations.

This game sure ain't easy :Arghh:
Signal SBJ11 at Shrewsbury with nobody clustered around it and 45231 headed for water at Abbey Foregate; and I've been looking for a chance to photograph this with a steam loco for ages
What are the chances, the Black 5 moved forward at exactly the same time as the late running Holyhead to Cardiff unit left platform 7.

25 minutes late into Shrewsbury this evening and 53 minutes late passing Wellington. The train must have been checked after the station and the cold air carried the sound of the Black 5 pulling away across the town - the soundtrack of my childhood,

No 9 ambling through Acton Bridge in murky weather, following the Liverpool - B'ham stopper, and thanks to Mick Kelly for the cheery wave as he got closer.

45305 appears to be out on the mainline somewhere doing something test like today. Does anyone have any details?

I heard it's in preparation for the Polar Express services Vintage Trains are running, whether it's true I'm not sure.
