A 34 minute late departure into a 51 minute early arrival, assume the schedule was rather slack!!

My own two efforts from today. I'd like to say three, but I cannot foresee this cloud breaking into a colourful sky for a Plumpton silhouette in the next hour.....

Two visits across the Border in four days. I fear if I return at the weekend for either North West tours may see me questioned at Hadrian's Wall. The passport is valid I swear!

Close but probably only a quarter of a cigar, the sun could not make its mind up to be in or out here in the foothills of the S&C so settled for something in-between.

The nation's favourite steam loco 60103 Flying Scotsman gets into her stride with a steady climb all the way to Ribblehead at Langcliffe near Settle. A most enjoyable Christmas dinner pie into what is turning into an annual treat was had at The Talbot Inn afterwards with Simon, Andrew and Dicky, a very convivial day out.
