    Thanks. A favourite spot of mine in the 1960s. Glad to see it's clear now: was getting overgrown last time I was there, years ago.

    I guess part of the issue with drivers and fireman is that the nature of the work means its not full time employment. Therefore the majority may well be semi retired guys from other TOCs. Hopefully this makes it less of an issue as guys will always be coming towards the end of their careers, I just hope that there will still be sufficient numbers interested in working steam.
