2020 Cumbrian Mountain Expresses

    With 2020 right around the corner I thought it would be good to start this thread. The performances that all of the locomotives in The Carnforth pool where good in my opinion during 2019. It is wonderful having 46115 back in steam following its most recent overhaul too. Expecting 35018 out on some of these as well the Jubilees but am leaning more towards the two numbers above because of power classification.

    The WCME 2019 was the highlight of the year for Mr & Mrs V, Les Ross from Euston, BIL and Mayflower. from Carnforth, deep snow on the fells...........and a birthday cake for old Victor. A wonderful day.:Happy:

    Oh, and a drop of Jaipur in The Woodrow Wilson.;)

    Edit; and there's a Spirit of the Lakes from Peterborough to Carlisle with steam just one way, Preston to Carlisle.

    Leander under maintenance through the Winter months based on the article in Steam Railway talking to Chris Beet, so that can probably be crossed off the list of potential motive power for the WCME's.
