Reported elsewhere to be Yorkshire based Condor Aviation (who appear to have both engineering resource and their own airfield).

Roughly forty years ago the aircraft museum at Southend sold up, there was a Beverley in the sale that was eventually broken up, I believe that the engines found their way the a scrapyard near Brentwood.

I am wondering what kind of person buys a life size Adolf Hitler.

Although, tbh, looking at the other wax work models, they might well have thought it was someone else.

I can imagine some museums might want to include a Third Reich diorama, if they've appropriate exhibits.

Hope their engineering can keep up the old Beverly standard saying - "Every rivet guaranteed to rattle"! :)

    Was that your excuse?

'Yes officer, this is a life size waxwork Hitler in my car, but I need it for my Third Reich diorama.'

No one has any need for a waxwork Hitler, especially one that probably looks like Freddie Mercury.

To be honest, thinking of a couple of places I've visited and shall remain nameless to protect the guilty, it's the "Freddie Mercury" factor that should be decisive in whether they use waxworks at all.
