    As always, you look here:

.....and then you phone. Not certain why you think that Nat Pres has the answer.

I think you are correct in that it has only occurred once in preservation years. 5X combination seen at Harthope 20.04.18.

Fingers crossed for this pairing but I did hear that Leander could be used on the Cumbrian Coast on the same day - as always we must wait and see.

Be surprised if Leander does either tour as it was in bits I believe so surely it’d need a test run at least.

Likewise heard. A source has told me 46115 is on the coast leaving 35018 for this.

I understand that Leander has had attention to her boiler so perhaps a test run would not be needed. Within the last few days there has apparently been a change of plan with 46115 on the Cumbrian Coast and 45690 to meet up with Galatea. We will all have to be patient and all will be revealed on Saturday (or Friday).

Isn't all that what the Railway Herald has also said? I seem to remember that West Coast always tries hard to provide something good for the Lune Rivers Trust so it wouldn't surprise me that they were planning double headed Jubilees for part of the trip.

IIRC (I probably don't) but didn't BIL and possibly even as far back as 46115 make their debut's on this train, so this year?? Bodmin?? ;)

That’s easy to do by changing the name plates and numbers on 35018 if you want Bodmin :)

Or really set hares running by numbering her 34073 and slapping 249 squadron plates on.

Just seen a post from rail advert on the net advising it's BIL from Carnforth to Scarborough with "Alberta" heading L.E. to Scarborough from York to double head the train back.
