Hi all i am David and new to this forum.

I have acquired a few interesting items and wondered if anyone had any idea of value.
There are 4 Original timetables from the Lancashire and Yorkshire railway all dated from 1891.
Also an original hand written signed letter form the Lancashire and Yorkshire railway chief traffic managers office dated 17 June 1890 regarding wanting a report following a derailment.
I also have what is believed to be a coal poker which was used on steam engines ( i picked this up magnet fishing)

    I have attached some photos.

    Thankyou

I like that "please explain" - I'd have been terrified if it landed on my desk !!

    Hi David

If you are thinking of finding a new home or selling the poster for the Thomas Cook train to the Matlock area please let me know. We would be interested in having this in the Peak Rail archives.

    Thanks
