I don't know specifics Pat, there are still quite a number of MHN's in the info office at Alresford waiting for local distributors to collect. Quite a few have gone and more have been posted. Understandably, not all distribution volunteers have been able to visit the railway yet.

With any luck it shouldn’t be too long until the hand delivered copies arrive at members front door steps.

Saturday and Sunday the King Alfred Climbers will be 506 (Alresford start) and 925 on the Austen Adventurers.

Saturday 41312 on the Watercress Wanderer ( up to 3 round trips and as long as you like at any station as long as you only use the Wanderer train)

Sunday 41312 on the goods train.

    Hope that helps.

We have booked on two of the trains allowing a good break at Ropley to enjoy the exhibits in the rain.

Couple of shots of one of the guest 'steamers' on her way to the MHR (yesterday) for their Vintage Vehicles event this weekend.

I gather this is a 1901 Fowler Crane Engine called "The Great North"

Taken near Compton (just after their roadside water stop) and Puttenham

Congratulations to Will Stratford and the Films Unit for another excellent film about the railway and very many thanks to Steve and Dave for their efforts in arranging these events; much appreciated. Andy

The engineering team have been very busy the last few months tidying up Ropley and putting up lots of shelves and things to store stuff. Some things have to be dismantled to get them onto the shelves though. 20210519_163405.jpg

At Alresford. At the moment the Wanderer is a coach short and stock wrong way round ie doesn’t match booking sheet.

Perhaps there has been a last minute hiccup?

More likely that the labels are on the wrong carriages than the stock.is the wrong way round. Ah well, another bump to iron out. Hopefully it will not spoil anyones day out.
