Mark 1 BSK No. 35207 has moved from the Bluebell to the Mid Hants (the eagle-eyed will have seen it in the latest MHR video).

I believe (but am open to correction) this is a temporary loan for the peak season, and it is due to return to the Bluebell for the Santa season.

I believe that the 2 Coaches from the NYMR that were being used on the G&WR then recalled back to NYMR have now returned to Toddington.
    ( I think that's right.)

2x Grampus wagons departed Mid Hants last week. Believed to have been bound for Midsomer Norton, but not seen anything anywhere to confirm this.

I understand that the last surviving SR (designed) Shock Open wagon S14036 has been acquired by the Bluebell Railway. Currently based on the NYMR, it was owned by the NRM but put up for de-acquisitioning.

Two Herring hoppers have moved from Severn Valley to Mid Hants, according to their Instagram story this afternoon.

A bit of trivia – both appeared on the main line in 1985 as part of the GW 150 demonstration freight train which ran to Newport behind GWR 2857.

The Severn Valley had three of these. Has the other one gone for scrap?

I remember seeing these listed for sale a few years ago; I assumed they had been sold as I could no longer find the advert (and didn't get a reply to inquiries about them.) Not sure about the third one - according the Trust records it's still at SVR, but then that could be out of date. I imagine they'll be at MHR for operational use, though I believe they are air braked only?

That's correct, they arrived a few weeks ago, after temporary storage at a hauliers depot.

    Cheers,

Today should see the GWR 813 Funds wagon:
GWR 2501 'Rotank' 6-Wheeled Road Milk Tank Flat Wagon move from Honeybourne to Arley on The SVR .
The vehicle will be modified to act as a crane runner for GWR 446 6Ton Hand Crane . 2501.jpg
