interesting that at some point yesterday someone found the time to VSTP the schedule to remove the Bishops Lydeard to Minehead portion.

I would think it hangs off at Paddington based on the platform length and where the diesel stops with the ECS.
In this image of Galatea on the same tour in 2016 it seems to be at or off the end of platform 10.
As mentioned by others elsewhere it will pull up to the signal to allow as much of the train as possible to be on the platform. At Slough was a major issue in this respect but I assume post Crossrail that has been alleviated and the platform extension on platform 4 is now open, but I have not been there recently.

Met Office forecast for Coglad Jct. 'Full sun 1800 to 20:00'. Needless to say, they lied. It was full dull.

Full marks to the support crews. Bahamas looked immaculate yet again. <BJ>

Look East did a feature on the NVR last night, and you could see Bahamas on shed behind the reporter. I was there last friday, and there was no sign of it then. Does anyone know how it arrived at Wansford, as it is not mentioned on light engine movements? thanks AJK

Thought I'd get in touch with Steam Dreams regarding the trip to Cardiff and unfortunately they confirmed there will be a diesel in the consist. Oh well, saves me a few quid.

'We are expecting to have a diesel for the turning move which will either happen at Maindee (Newport) on the passenger section of the trip or just after Cardiff on the non-passenger section. While doing it on the non-passenger section is our preference it is most likely that it will happened at Maindee.'
