I feel like I've been Ludovico'd for months with such commentary. Its a far dafter suggestion than one that seems to have been deleted.

It is amazing how robust a lot of scenery is. A while back I went to the Caribbean and while touring the island I went to one of the places that Pirates of the Caribbean had been filmed a few years previously and despite the hurricanes, storms etc the set was still standing intact.

There's a precedent in the 170-year old half-built Duddeston Viaduct in Birmingham. Originally intended to give Birmingham & Oxford Railway trains access to the first LNWR terminus at Curzon Street, but a change of plan sent them to Snow Hill instead.
