Upto now 80136 worked vice 92134 then 92134 came out vice 80136,so 80136 likely to end at Pickering and 92134 at Grosmont tonight .

Trains connecting with Whitby’s have been busy ,others less so ..

Looked good at Esk Cottages, also sounded a lot better too and was going well considering its goods trip a day earlier.

That 8f sounds great on the 1 in 49. Pity we can't keep it!

15 minutes is the normal booked time for the climb. That requires a steady speed of about 15mph, once clear of the 10mph restriction leaving Grosmont. 12 minutes requires a steady speed of about 19 mph, which is into class 6 territory with 7 coach trains.

cheers for clarifying that Steve. I thought the allowance would be 13-15 mins anyway. I haven't unfortunately been to the Moors yet although been studying timetables for good measure

Good to look in on the webcam today and see Grosmont platforms really busy again for probably the first time since the pandemic began.

Roster update, 80136 is now working the delayed 1357 from Grosmont, so the 9f may have swapped back into its original workings again.
