Here's my footage of 60163 Tornado with the Cheshireman roaring up Filton Bank and speeding along at Tram Inn on what has been a pretty dramatic and pretty sad day, in relation to the person who got hit by the train in the Ludlow area. Huge condolences go to his friends and family in these tough times. I hope you enjoy the video.

I must be just out of shot in my little 'ol series Landy - it slowed for Marshbrook allowing me to catch up, then I went in front just prior to this only to hear the whistle shriek as it rattled through Church Stretton station into the distance beyond as I had to slow for the 30mph zone!

Seen passing Coleham Depot as it left Shrewsbury this evening

(for those with an additional interest in the railhead treatment trains, there's a 15 minute video showing that in action here

Currently at Craven Arms, struggling to take water due to pressure apparently.

Wonder if that's a consequence of 6233's unplanned top-up there earlier.

My mate is staying in Bristol but not hopeful of finding much open for food when he gets back.

Yes, he’s got about a 40 minute journey from Bristol - ironic part is I’m a couple of miles down the road from him at the moment at a wedding tonight and probably will be home first at this rate :D

I do wonder if he’s a bad luck curse - I remember him taking my sister on one of the Royal Dutchys as she had only ever been on the Shakespeare Express before and it was the one where Tangmere failed and had to be rescued with an 08!!! Always seems to be drama when he travels lol!!!

Its trips like these that will put off first time travellers from ever returning. I have done two Cheshireman excursions and there's always been issues on that route.

If it was still open, the chippy at Craven Arms must have thought Christmas had come early!

To be fair you can’t plan for someone being hit by a train….

I was thinking the extensive and Record Breaking water stop at Craven Arms. The fatality is beyond all control.
