Doesn't that rather depend on the cause of last weeks failure ?

80002 could be after Webb 1054 L.N.W. coal tanky 75078 and Dub dee 90733 are all overhauled I think as well the tender off 8F 48431 has had some work done on its tender tank or the old tender tank off 45596 has been used on the 8F but the loco would need a full overhaul as it was very worn from been withdrawn from its last boiler ticket. 4F 43924 is been stored for a bit up at oxenhope for a later date to be overhauled fairly soon I saw on unofficial K.V.W.R. facebook site. also at the Embsay Bolton abbey steam railway I'm not sure how far 3168 wheldale is from nearing its overhaul completion.

Still the Standard 4 tank unless I've missed something. The crab was being worked on but the last I heard, some metal parts were stolen at the beginning of Lockdown 1.

Strathspey turned 46512 around at an incredible pace which means the most active and advanced project is 46464 which is making great strides across 2 work sites. Late 2022/ early 2023 has been mooted about. After just disassembling and rebuilding another Ivatt, theres plenty of hands on experience to get stuck in. The austerity is being worked on but work has been third fiddle but is working its way up the priority list.

That’s because it isn’t ten years - it returned to traffic at the KWVR 16th August 2014.

That's fair enough, I don't have any official contacts at the KWVR these days since various people have left.

Usual caveats apply, but I believe 34059 Sir Archibald Sinclair is due to return to steam at the Bluebell in 2022.

Edit: Missed it already being mentioned.

8P B.R. standard 71000 Duke of Gloucester is it due back in 2022? I've heard a few folk on steam tours mentioning.

Should be one in, one out with the 2’ gauge Bagnalls at Amberley Museum. 0-4-0ST “Peter” (2067/1918) should return to traffic in the Spring following major overhaul, with ex-Groudle Glen 2-4-0T ‘Polar Bear’ (1781/1905) likely to be withdrawn at the end of the season pending overhaul.

What's the story with the NRMs steam fleet which are on loans with their respective preserved railways.

There's 850 lord nelson down at the mid hants which I'd definitely heard their planning to overhaul & return to traffic.

Also 30777 sir lamiel at the great central, I had heard a while ago they were being allowed to overhaul it.

4150 was originally targetted for the start of the 2023 season. Loco is coming off the jacks before the shed closure. Tanks still need riveting but is not dependant on the shed being closed. 2857 group have a 6 month extension with the hope of a further 6 month to finish the year. I would not be surprised if 1501 gets an extension until the year is out. We are stretched to the very limit over this period with washouts. Losing the pig with regulator issues has left a substantial hole. The pig may well be used less this coming year due to tyre wear, brake blocks and mechanical wear as its 14 years since the mechanical side was done. The boiler should be in very reasonable knick as she has only had good RO water and had an awful lot of work done to it.

We dropped a bit of a clanger with the pig, knowing the tyres were getting thin we didnt order the tyres well in advance of its upcoming withdrawal. Then the 75 had its meeting with a tree and now her tyres are on the last 2 turns. So will need new ones in 8 years time.

Well if you think about it, East Lancs will be fine:
    Jinty, 4 tank, LYR 23, LYR 25, Douglas + 3 Black 5's.
It's the smaller railways you have to worry about.
