Wish the GCR would stop changing its mind, I am beginning to get fed up with editing the same old post Time and Time AGAIN!

80080 announced as 1st visit AGAIN!
Second visitor, still nothing with ONE MONTH to go!

I hope this second visitor as an absolute jaw-dropper for it STILL being unannounced THIS late!

Honestly with the GC's reputation they would be INCREDIBLY keen on getting all visitors sorted, timetables up and sorting everything to the last detail out!

Tornado is out of ticket the week or two before the gala and is always due to leave for overhaul beforehand.

I have a feeling of what the second loco will be though....

Yes I do, It's called 'Autism' and 'Social Anxiety'.

I do as well, trust me, I have absolute
HUGE ideas for some railways, South Devon, Didcot, North Norfolk etc.

Sadly I don’t think you’re likely to get a chance.

Well now that I have calmed down and thought a bit better, I got a funny feeling too.
Taking into account where 78018 was last year.[IMG]

Well, true, but, if you think about it.
IF the second visitor is of Southern lineage and they got a 4 Tank, logically it would either be a Spamcan, Un-Spamcan or Merchant Navy.

Although I could be wrong and be some wildcard like
828, then I will look pretty stupid.
    (Nothing new there then).

I know its what Ben as put at the top, but nowhere on the GCR website does it mention Southern flavour or Southern Region

80080 has not visited for some time (im not able to find photographic evidence) - A flickr search shows East Lancs, Ecclesbourne, Midland Railway Butterly, Keighley and some classic mainline stuff!

Visiting Standard Tank wise the most recent is 80136 which came in 2017 , 80072 in 2010, 80105 in 2006 and 80104 in 2002,

When the page first went live on the GCR Website and confirmed the first visiting loco, it definitely stated that the second (to be confirmed) visitor would be a Southern one. All mention of that has now been removed from the web page, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens next.
It's not the first time that the GCR Website has changed or deleted things again after posting them in the past 12 months.......

Thanks for confirming this Johann, Chances are I totally missed that when it was initally put live, with that said, I agree that it throws it back wide open as to what it could be.

And no, wouldnt be the GCR if something didnt change ....

Hate to be one of those people but I saw it being 34072 quite a while ago. looks to be a great event. Also a reminder this is 46521s final year in service before its ticket expires this October.
