Although those two did appear in 2018's 50th Anniversary Gala, which I thought there was way too much going on for my liking.
(All those different events made me dizzy trying to keep up with it all :Wacky:).

It will be nice seeing them at a normal steam gala, especially as 7714 will be 7714 not 5775.

Sounds like a decent event. Interesting that they've chosen two locos that both attended together in 2018, but strong choices nonetheless.

Does anyone know when gala timetables are usually released, never been to a gala before, so don't know how far in advance they are released usually

depends on the railway, some publish a couple of weeks in advance, some maybe 3-4 days in advance

there's a miss print, wrong timetable put on the Saturday, all the Keighley departures are shown as dated Friday instead of Saturday, and on Sunday you have 2 trains leaving Oxenhope within 5 minutes of each other and both arriving at Keighley at the same time

I'm sure they'll get the problem sorted soon. :)
Hopefully with some loco allocations as well. :)

I presume the gala will just have one less engine, unless Riley's bring one of theirs over with 46100?

It looks like there's a slight problem with the 15.15 Keighley - Oxenhope on Sunday. 52044 leading, 41241 trailing, but 52044 is detached at Haworth Loop. I guess it's probably double-headed by 52044+41241 rather than 41241 being on the back.

    You mean like this

Taken on the gala 47 years ago, 22/3/75. I fluffed the departure shot unfortunately.

Looking at the timetable, when a loco is being attached in the down direction, is it added to the rear or does it become a pilot engine?
