    That is genuinely phenomenal. Is there a way to see the docco anywhere other than Dan Snow's channel? Would be nice to not have to subscribe to yet another video service…

    Amazing to see the difference in condition of the ship, in comparison with Titanic, despite being at similar depth (give or take 800metres) and submerged for a similar length of time. Combination of construction and conditions in that part of the sea I guess. Seems like Titanic's not long for this world, but it looks like Endurance… will endure… (sorry)

    Thanks to a young Australian on the expedition called Frank Hurley there is an incredible record on film of these remarkable men and their ship. One of the Youtube videos plus a link to a BFI page giving the story of how the film was taken at the time and due to the efforts of Hurley and Shackleton managed to survive despite their own hardships and dangers.
