    Hi there,

We've stated multiple steam locos as we are not yet sure of the number available to us. We are likely to see 7822, 7828, 9351, 5199 and a number of guest locos. 9466 and 1857 will make appearances if work is complete at Williton in time for the event.

We have an announcement with regard to a first visitor and we are waiting for that at the moment from WSR Commercial.

    Thanks for your interest.

It would brighten up any gala and as it seems to be on tour there should be opportunities to see it in various locations. There is an event in Sussex when it will appear. So all good.

It is looking like the full gala line up will be as follows:

    - Caledonian Railway 439 Class no.419
    - BR Standard 4MT no. 75069
    - BR(W) Manor Class no.7822 Foxcote Manor
    - BR(W) Manor Class no.7828 Odney Manor
    - WSR Mogul 2-6-0 no.9351
    - GWR Large Prairie no. 5199 (not working on Thursday 5th)
    - BR(W) 94XX Pannier Tank no.9466 (subject to satisfactory fitness to run exam)
    - Hudswell Clark no.1857 (in light steam at Williton)

All locos will get a variety of turns, with full line trains and local trains from BL to WN working too. We also will see the return of Goods Trains at this event, and these originate from Minehead in the morning each day and return in the evening.

On Friday/Saturday I'm pleased to confirm that the Goods will work top and tailed/banked shuttle runs from BL to NF, then to CH, then back to BL. We hope this will give plenty of opportunity to see Goods workings in action without taking passenger paths. This also adds the attraction of seeing banked workings, which are appropriate as 9466, 5199 and 419 are all representatives of classes associated with these duties.

A reminder also of our 'Kid for a Quid' offer on Sunday, where a child can travel for £1 with a full paying adult ticket.

Tickets here at advanced discount - https://www.west-somerset-railway.co.uk/events/detail/spring-steam-gala

I am looking forward to seeing the repainted coaches. I hope they will be in matching rakes.

Traditionally it was part of a gala souvenir and was very good value for money. <BJ>

That's the working timetable. The question was for a timetable.

Any communication that gives times and locos is welcome. I have most souvenir booklets from the last few years and they are very good. I also use timetables from WST.org etc, printed, or just saved to my phone. Anything, really.

I'm hoping the public timetable without loco allocations will be out this week. It's with the commercial team now.

As is tradition we are producing a Gala Program which will include the full working timetable.

Will a simple timetable with loco allocations be available (preferably downloadable) rather than having to carry a souvenir book around all day?
