    The 33 failed this evening and had to be rescued by one of the 50s. Delays at end of service about 40 mins.
    Not sure what it has failed with and if it can be repaired for tomorrow.

    From one of the 71A chaps on SVR Diesels Facebook page last night.

    "To put the record straight I can confirm there was no flashover of generator or motors or anything else electrical. Just a broken vacuum pipe to the vacuum control circuit governor which meant that the loco couldn’t take power. Now temporarily repaired by 71A’s engineer (JC) who was onboard the train"

    From other postings it looks like it has been repaired.

    IMG_20220521_163316.jpg IMG_20220521_153959.jpg An interesting comparison at Bewdley today! Trains continued to be well loaded, with timetable about 15 late. Was good to spend a few hours in one place, with plenty of trains coming and going. Lovely breakfast from cafe @Matt37401 Btw! :)
