    Seeing that reminded me I've had this cutting for years (from one of the Perthshire local papers).
    Photographs of station staff seem to have been quite popular in the early 20th Century.
    Seventeen people, was this the whole compliment and did the revenue ever justify the numbers I wonder ?

    You're like the rest of us, not a 'normal', you're a railway enthusiast, you're interested in more things than the average 'normal' could comprehend. :D Continue to watch and learn, be fascinated. My wife enjoys watching how guards dispatch trains in their own inimitable styles, and then the train slides away.
