Dont wish to stoke the fire, but like to point out, the engine in the video wasn't even 34105, its 34007 that has just started being dismantled for a overhaul to mainline standard, since that video was taken, more of the cladding has been removed in readiness for a eventual boiler lift

As this thread had drifted into the realms of madness & fantasy I'd demand to know what the lighthouse authorities are doing about repatriation of 34028. ;-)

An image I took a few days back before my Covid enforced "house arrest".
There is a very nice image from Nick Lloyd on the Swanage twitter page of 257 in the station with the Lancaster doing its display over the bay in the background.

Great photo "Rumpole" Reminds me of when I was in Burlington Ontario Canada in 2019 photographing a model T Ford leaving a petrol/gas station and the only other airborne Lancaster flew overhead from Hamilton airport.
    Anyway I digress.

Is there any 'relationship' between the BofB Memorial Flight & BofB locomotive owners?

Clearly photo's like 257 Squadron at Swanage with a Lancaster in the background are magnificent.

More to the point could you have a BofB loco event coupled with a fly past?
