    These match the NER buffers on the back of 1310. Not sure of the origin of those on the front.

    Very true. As I said in my earlier post I’ve no idea of the origins of those on the front of 1310 and shown in Dave’s photo. They have rubber springs in them but whether they are original, I don’t know.

    Another photo of the style I am looking for. The main requirement is for the bolting area to be round, normt a rectangle.
