Does anyone know what happened to the lattice signal post with its distant signal arm, which was sited near the A82 at Ballachulish village on the Northbound side of the road for a long time? I always used to see this, but have not seen it in the last few years... I don't know if it was a Caley signal from the Ballachulish Branch, or if it was an NB signal.
It was situated near the stone archway by the road.

    Any information would be welcome.

    Richard.

Yes, That will be the one... Has it gone now, or am I going blind?!

No idea, the photo was taken in 2013.

I'm not sure but I believe that it has gone to the Invergarry station project. I understand the it used to be the Arisaig down distant signal.

Open to correction on both points though.

Many Thanks Peter - I was hoping that it hadn't just rotted away and been scrapped. I'll have to have a look at the Invergarry Project next year when I'm up on holiday again.

    Richard.
