Hi Guys does anyone know any more about what has happen to the three locos imported some time ago from Antigua. It has been reported that they are now somewhere in the Midlands.

Am more information would be welcome

I think they are in containers on an Industrial Estate in Leek, Staffordshire.
Likewise, I am intrigued about their current status.
I am assuming that as there has been very little information about them, that the owner does not welcome enthusiasts to view the locos.
I read somewhere (NGW?), that when they were initially imported, that the intention was to cosmetically restore one of them and return it to Antigua, that idea might have faded now.

Wasn't one of them (a 'Tattoo' iirc) sold to a Corris supporter?

I think you are right, again in a container, I am led to believe.
Hopefully I will see it when I go there next year when Falcon is working!

FMB Engineering was dissolved in 2015. The gentleman involved is/was a Mr Brian Gent.
I think there may be an existing thread on these locos here and I seem to recall the asking prices were eye-watering especially as I think the locos were in very poor condition

That was probably Stanhope which he was known to own, some bits went to the Talyllyn, Boiler to Brollwyd, then rebuilt in 1999.

Also Brian Gent co wrote some NG related railway books.

STANHOPE is, as far as I know, at Moseley Railway Trust, Staffordshire. There was a KS 0-4-2 came over from Antigua as part of the group under discussion which ended up at Corris, works number 857 of 1904, which I have as a Maurice class. My notes say "not on public display".

I found the other thread: https://www.national-preservation.com/threads/antigua-kerr-stuarts.171549/
It states that 857 is a Tattoo class

Stanhope was in steam and running at The West Lancs at Hesketh Bank in July 2022 unless there is more than one.
Have a photo I can dig out.

I think they were all but identical to the Tattoos. Just a different name for marketing purposes, I guess.
