    Nice photos of an era that has now long gone - if you had not visited the IMR before the destruction of the station took place it is difficult to appreciate what a large area it covered - without doubt the finest Narrow Guage station on these Islands - it certainly brings back happy memories of my visits to the Island before the changes came ( the area is now a bus park and part of Tescos supermarket!)

    Tesco's is not on the railway station site, I don't know where this myth came from?

    The old carriage shed marked the southern edge of where the station site was. The bus garage is now on the site.
