Couldn’t you just paint the number on the buffer beam of something like 4110?
    Who’s to know the differences?
We all know everything Great Western looks the same… :):););)

It will be nice to see a different BR Std tank engine out and about, especially when it visits old classmates former stomping grounds. :)

    Heathen scum….

And on the 8th day, the Lord created “the Krueger”,
and Lo!, it was terrible to behold!
Thus, the lord did send an angel to down Moses,
And the angel did stick a post-it note to the divine tablets,
    and the note said:

    11. It is the exception that proves the rule.

£250,000 - I really haven’t a clue so I’d have to appoint consultants to do an Options Analysis, which might lead to a Preliminary Scoping (or even Feasibility) Study if the budget stretched far enough. Not forgetting lunch.

My preferred option would be to put it towards a replica of WHR 0-6-4ST Beddgelert, it will probably never happen, but I can dream!

It might be nice to recreate the HL 060 "Hecate" which was too heavy for the old KESR, and ended up I believe as a shunter at Nine Elms goods. The modern version of the KESR would have no problem with the weight.

in the current economic climate, any undercover storage project. Although £250k won't buy much.

I was thinking about KESR too. Possibly recreating a Shefflex set or a paired car to go with the Ford Railcar and put it into service.

Nice thought, but the replica currently present at Tenterden is a scaled down version of the original.

Create a 1:1 Shefflex and couple it to the scaled down Ford, and although this is utterly, utterly wrong it’d not be out of place.
