I notice that it says “Timetables for the main running season from July onwards will be reviewed in mid-May in the light of levels of demand”.

I hope this will take into account that many people will not bother visiting the railway when Timetable B is in operation as it is such a poor timetable. Reduce the service = less visitors = no need to increase the service as there is no demand!

Very interesting reading regarding the news as the opening times of the K&C, I really think that this is the start of a slippery slope, or has the damage been done and those that used to drink in there continue to use Weavers Wharf down the hill?

I apologise if I sound as nit picking but I really think this is a little short sighted, what happens when Kidderminster are at home? Surely having the pub open gets money out of wallets when the railway isn’t open on a Tuesday or Wednesday night.
Also I’d love to know what’s going to happen to the firkin that’s tapped and vented late on a Saturday night yet only has a few pints drawn through on a Sunday?
What’s going to happen with the wastage on that?
I’ve seen this happen time and time again, and as a long time supporter of the SVR, I genuinely find this very frustrating.

Interesting piece on dynamic pricing. When we had the discussion a few weeks back I was unaware there was a mention of three price bands, is that something very recent or did I miss it.
I must admit I struggle a little with the middle band as I cannot believe many suddenly say we will go in the next two days, but maybe folks do check the weather and decide on one day rather than another.
Good on them for trying something different though, maybe eventually we will end up with "airline pricing" where it has changed from when you looked before you made a coffee and the new price afterwards.;)

It isn’t apparent yet from the website because there isn’t yet a day to buy tickets within the three day slot. I didn’t pick it up until it was mentioned in the first editorial Teams meeting the week before planned publication date. It’s good the information is shared.

As it happens we’re people who do book late around weather and wellness. Today was going to be an ‘out’ day, until it wasn’t!

I suppose because of all these money issues that the forthcoming event will only have 4079 as the star of the show?

Au contraire! Very polished. And contrary to @ghost 's point, Bluebell Times is very much a team effort - but in technology terms a bit shoestring!

I thought Branch Lines only went out to members. As a shareholder upive not received since I cancelled my membership.

It goes to all members, shareholders and supporters who have provided emails. As a wild guess you’d registered your email address on the membership but not the shareholding, and when the membership lapsed you dropped off. Try going onto SVR Live and clicking on the button to add your email to the shareholder records. Otherwise email the shareholders address (I’m on my phone so can’t reach it at the moment). Fingers crossed you’ll get the email automatically then.

Are the Sunday dining trains (the limited and venturer) running this year? Also, what has happened to the footplate experience courses? There is no mention of them on the website.

I don't think it is a good idea to run a 2 train service on the easter weekend, and two of the May bank holiday weekends. I am not sure why Timetable C could not be used for bank holidays, as well as the two themed weekends.

I’m no GWR groupie, but what a star to have! It’s not that long ago that it would have been unthinkable to see it back in this country, let alone running at the SVR.
