    Network rail are on Amber alert status . One fire probably tips it over to red , much as the Nat pres missive hate it , better safe than sorry

    Agree entirely and worth remembering the SVR suffered line side fires at their diesel gala in the same neck of the woods a fortnight ago - there has been no significant rain since and the temperature is in the high 20's today.

    The climb of the Lickey was something else . Class 47 I don't think did anything . I am now drying out after getting drenched . 15 miles back home and it is bone dry
