I believe there will be displays and information stands from some of the other railway wagon groups. Certainly the Windcutter group will be present at Quorn.

More details of this event are now showing on the GCR website. There will be 20 restored wagons on display in Quorn yard plus lots of other displays.

Test Car 2 will also be on show at Quorn. There are several freight train paths on the timetable so it will be a busy weekend.

Test car 2 is due to run on Saturday as it has passed its "Fitness to Run" examination.

I had a quick visit to the GCR on Sunday, it was normal Sunday service with one return trip with 78018 ,from Quorn to Loughborough 'with a van train. Seemed to be plenty of people about despite the unsettled weather. Photo' attached of the van train near Quorn.

I am glad to read that Sunday had plenty of people about. Saturday was pretty wet most of the day and people were scarce around Quorn but they probably stayed riding on the trains.
