I hope the plan is for 60007 to haul the Fellsman on the Wednesday. Then head to the NYMR 1st thing on the Thursday.

SNG Website advertises 60007 on Fellsman on 20th (The 'Sir Nigel Gresley' Locomotive Trust Ltd)
NYMR Gala page states: "We're pleased to announce the first of our visiting locomotives will be LNER A4 pacific locomotive 'Sir Nigel Gresley' in BR Blue livery, which is arriving on Thursday 21st but will be in action from 22nd - 24th"

Heading to LSL's new depot at Carlisle Upperby, then onwards to Glasgow (Mossend) tomorrow for stabling ahead of a private charter to Fort William this weekend. Quite likely the chairman's train.

That’s interesting news about LSL having a depot at Carlisle, has there been anything in the railway press about it?

I thought that Jeremy Hosking's plans to purchase Upperby had fallen through, but I see that LSL took possession in September 2023.

They published a short post about the new depot on their Facebook page earlier this week. Screenshot below for those who don't have Facebook

He's done a great job with that by the look of it, looks amazing. They've also recently run a very successful Pacer tour along the North Wales Coast. It's not my thing, but it attracted over 120 bookings at the price of £50 a ticket. LSL are on a roll at the moment I think. I don't care in the slightest what the guy's political opinions are. Each of us deals with dozens of companies every single week in our daily lives - supermarkets, retail shops, taxis, tradespersons etc. I'm sure none of us stop to research what the opinions of the owner are. Would you stop shopping at your local Tesco because the owner was a Tory, or turn down a plumber's help because you don't like his friends?
