We very much did! Glad to see I didn’t get far into your shot at Ashwell with that bit of vegetation blocking a far platform end shot!

Got around to finishing off the outward and return timings for the August 26th's Cotswold Venturer. Impressive accelerations and solid running by 45690.

I've been looking at the 'Three Jubilees on the Cotswold Venturer' in 2022&23. It's a pity the 26th August ran to Gloucester not Worcester as it took away the running in both directions on what has become a bit of a racetrack, Cheltenham Spa to Abbotswood Jn. One section of running that definitely stands direct comparison is Swindon to Sapperton Tunnels on the outward. The track is in excellent condition and really has produced some stunning runs by the Jubilees. 2 of the Eastbound steep climbs of Sapperton were compromised. I'll put them together out of interest but 2 were in almost darkness.

Another top performance from the Jubilee, seen at Addlestone, Eastleigh, Creech Bottom, Harmon's Cross, Redbridge, Andover, Fleet and Egham, with some action on the SR from 34070 Manston.

Today's Coast to Coast seems to have not been mentioned so far.

Did the 37 that was on the back at Newton Le Willows on a YouTube clip on the Pathfinder thread get removed en route then?

Yes. It was detached, as planned, during the water stop in Guide Bridge loop.

The 37 was on the back of the RTC Coast to Coast and came off at Guide Bridge to work back to Edge Hill.

Seeing as all three Jubilee's have been on the GWR in the space of 7 months, I've put together a compilation of all the shots I got of them, including the trio all filmed at Twyford for comparison:

An emailshot from RTC yesterday says that "The Mancunian on Saturday 21st October 2023 will now be hauled by the Jubilee Class locomotive No. 45596 Bahamas". Starting up Camden Bank without help from the back seems unlikely.

But then would it have not been whatever the loco, especially at this time of year?

Would Jubs have been quite rare on Euston Manchester trains?

Doesn't the reversal at Manchester need something to help?
