    here is the latest update from the railway. We had a great ‘Phantom Pacer’ Halloween event but are closed to the public now until November 24th, when we start running the Polar Express trains. Plenty of work still to do

    D2051 had been inactive for over 20 years at North Norfolk, but tantalisingly had been started up and moved but had been denied a restoration effort owing to its owner(s) always being engaged in overhauling their other 03's and 08's and latterly ill health.

    The result was the common story of a loco wavering between waiting in a restoration queue but never getting to the top and becoming a long term spares donor.

    I wish the new owners well and hope they can make something of the loco. I'm aware that future plans haven't been released but I could see it being a useful and attractive ex-BR addition to the TSR's existing diesel shunter collection.

    here is the latest update from the railway. We are all busy getting ready for the Polar Express trains with dress rehearsals this weekend, and it starting proper on Friday 24th November. However, there may be some arrivals and a departure this week, although nothing has been definitely confirmed as yet.
